I Dare You Day 2025: A Confidence-Filled Success Story

When I first announced I Dare You Day at Exposed Boudoir Photography in Glens Falls, NY, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I hoped it would be the perfect opportunity for women who were curious about boudoir photography but felt a little too nervous to book a full session. What happened next absolutely blew me away.

Day one filled so quickly that I had to open a second day—and even that sold out almost instantly! Women from all over the Capital Region (and beyond!) wanted to be a part of this unique confidence-boosting experience.

Women Traveled for Just 20 Minutes of Magic

One of the biggest surprises was that a few women actually drove over two hours just for their 20-minute boudoir appointment. To me, that speaks volumes about how much women are craving this kind of self-love and empowerment. Even though their sessions were short and sweet, the energy in the studio was electric. Every single client left with a glow on her face—and received at least one image that reminded her just how powerful and beautiful she is.

The Beauty of Sharing the Experience

Several women also came in pairs—best friends, sisters, or bridesmaids—spending the whole morning getting ready together before heading into the studio. There was so much laughter and support as they cheered each other on, proving that boudoir is about connection just as much as it is about confidence. Watching women hype each other up in the mirror and then leave feeling more confident than ever reminded me exactly why I do this work.

The best part? Every single person loved their photos. Even though the session was quick, we were able to capture stunning, powerful images that clients couldn’t wait to see. Many even decided to purchase additional images beyond the complimentary one they received—which told me they didn’t just “survive” the experience, they thrived in it.
